The names of Arabica and Robusta coffee are not strange anymore for the coffee lover; we agree that those are several kinds of great coffee taste in making spectacular coffee. I guess that is not too much matter. See the fact below:

Although worldwide there are approximately 70 species of coffee trees, from the size of shrubs to tall trees with 12 meters, but there are only two species of coffee trees that are generally known to be produced as a product of coffee. Both species are used for the production of about 98 percent of world coffee production.

What are they? The coffee was first developed in the world is Arabica coffee coming from the species Arabica coffee trees. This type is most widely produced, which is about more than 60 percent of world coffee production. Arabica coffee produces the best taste of coffee. Trees’ species are usually grown in upland areas. Coffee tree’s height is around 4 to 6 meters. Arabica coffee has less caffeine content; it is not more than 1.5 percent and has a chromosome number of 44 chromosomes.

Canephora tree’s height reaches 12 meters and can be planted in lower areas than Arabica coffee. Robusta coffee is typically used as instant coffee or fast food. Robusta coffee has higher caffeine content but more neutral taste, and smelling stronger taste. It is awesome taste of coffee ever!! It is really hot.

Caffeine’s content of Robusta coffee reached 2.8 percent and has a chromosome number of 22 chromosomes. Robusta coffee production has currently reached a third of world coffee production.
